Gutters in Geronimo, TX

Small community, big lots, and a lot of metal roof per house.

The Texas Hill Country in warm light after a storm has cleared

About twenty minutes east, on the way out toward Seguin.

Geronimo is a short hop east of us and the work there is mostly rural rather than subdivision.

Metal roofs and outbuildings

Plenty of the buildings here are metal roofed, including a good number of shops, barns and covered parking that never had gutters at all. Adding a run to a building that has gone without one is a common job, and the reason is usually the same: the drip line has cut a trench along one side and it is starting to undermine a slab edge or a footing.

Pecans and oaks

There is decent tree cover on many of these properties, pecan among it. Where a big pecan overhangs a roof we will usually talk about guards, because getting up on a rural outbuilding twice a year is nobody's idea of a good time.

One trip

Because lots are large, a single property can carry several separate runs across a house and two outbuildings. We measure the whole place at the look rather than quoting one building at a time, so you get one number and one visit.

Water away from the slab

On open rural ground there is usually somewhere sensible to send the water, which makes the discharge side of the job easier here than it is on a tight town lot.

Here is what happens on install day, from the first look to the walk-through.
